We love the hot days and we can’t wait to spend this time with the kids in the park.
Summer Playgroup is to run freely, to touch the earth, to hear and spy birds, to dig and find worms or beautiful treasures, to take walks in the forest and check our blackberry bushes, to feel the wind and fly kites, to climb our beloved beech tree and rest under it’s shade, to build incredible structures that can be an airplane, teepee or pirate ship, to make cookies and feed our dragons and much more.
Our mission is to encourage the children to play, explore, imagine, create, to form friendships and by doing that we are helping them to have a healthy and happy childhood. Looking forward to meet you at the park for a very fun summer time. Let’s celebrate life and nature together again!
The minimum age for summer playgroup is 3 years, unless your child has participated in the Spring 23 or Fall 22 season.
For the summer playgroup the minimum requirement is 3 days per week.
Tuition:
Morning group (9am-1pm)
3 days/week – $324
4 days/week – $432
5 days/week – $540
Extra hours:
Additional to morning group (1pm-3pm)

Registration Fee:
For families registering for the first time with Let’s Playgroup, there is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $ 50.00.
Discount:
For families registering more than one child we offer a 15% sibling discount.
FAQ’s
We meet inside the park by between the 3rd & 5th Street entrances of Prospect Park near the Litchfield Villa. Pickup will be at the same spot as drop off.
The minimum age of 3 years is only for new students. To make the transition and adapt to a separation from the parents for children under 3 yrs takes time; this is something we do during a full semester, but for the summer program we have many more children of different ages coming and going in a short period of time and we simply won’t have time to dedicate to a transition for a new child.
Yes! Rain or shine. That said we keep an eye on the weather – if there is a thunderstorm or high winds forecast we may have to cancel.
This is the time we’ll be packing our board shorts and bikinis and taking a break before fall semester starts; however some of our teachers may be available to take some kids to the park; so if you need more summer playgroup, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Registration, cancellations, refunds:
1. Before anything, please read our guidelines and if anything is unclear or you have any questions related to the summer program, please contact us first.
2. When you’re ready to commit and know your dates, fill out the form; if you’re new, you have to pay a one-time registration fee.
3. At the end of registration you have to pay a non-refundable deposit; the deposit is 50% of the total tuition.
4. As soon as your registration and deposit payment went through, you will receive a confirmation email. We will send you an invoice for the balance via Square.
5. Your spot is considered reserved as soon as we receive the deposit.
Well, it depends when you cancel; if you cancel after paying the deposit, but before May 1st 2023, we won’t hold you to the remaining balance; if you paid the entire tuition but cancel before May 1st 2023, you get 50% of the tuition refunded; if you cancel after May 1st 2023, there is no refund. Registrations after May 1st 2023 will have to be paid in full and are not refundable.
During the course of summer playgroup, if you cancel due to illness, travel or any other reason, we cannot offer any make ups or refunds, nor can any sort of credit be carried over to a future season of playgroup.
If it rains, we still go to the park and have fun jumping puddles; but at times that there may severe weather with high winds and/or predicted thunderstorms, we may have to cancel playgroup.
If we do have to cancel, which happens rarely, we will try to offer a make up day before summer playgroup ends. If that is not possible we will offer a 50% refund for the missed day.
If we should have to cancel a day due to unpredictable circumstances, such as a teacher’s illness and we are not able to arrange for a make up day before the end of summer playgroup, we will refund the money for the missed day.
We now accept credit cards. For the deposit (payable at the end of registration) we accept major credit card only. The balance can be paid via credit card, Venmo or Zelle.
