After spending the summer looking for berries, playing with water, making teepees, going fishing, taking walks to find treasures, naming all the trees around us, making cookies and cakes out of mud, seeds and flowers and playing in the rain, we know that fall is coming!
Fall is the season of the colors and transitions. There is nothing better than being outside everyday to see all the changes that come with fall. We will collect the leaves, sticks, rocks and seeds to play with them while waiting for the rain to come and deliver the best puddles to jump in. We will be walking around the park, observing the birds and animals preparing for the winter while enjoying nature in its splendor! There is no better place for a child than being with another child, in nature and completely free. We honor the childhood of everyone and all our work is dedicated to that – to make sure every child experiences his/her surroundings fully and have a happy and healthy childhood.
We love fall and we would love to have you join us to enjoy all its beauty.
Fall playgroup will run from September 18th – December 15th ; there is no playgroup Thanksgiving week, November 20th – November 24th.
Morning Group
Morning hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am to 1:00pm
Extended hours: 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Tuition:
4 hours per day (9am-1pm)
2 days/week – $ 2688
3 days/week – $ 3888
4 days/week – $ 4992
5 days/week – $ 6000
Extended hours:
2 hours per day (1pm-3pm); additional to morning group tuition

After School Group
For children 3-8 years old; children 3-4 years old must be fully potty trained.
Mondays & Thursdays (3pm-5:30pm)
Tuition:
2 1/2 hours per day (3pm-5:30pm)
Mondays – $ 700 ($ 800 w/pickup)
Thursdays – $ 840 ($ 960 w/pickup)
Pickup is currently from PS 321, PS 39 & Old First Nursery only.
Mondays and Thursdays. There is no after school on following school holidays: September 25th (Yom Kippur), October 19th (Indigenous People’s Day) and November 7th (Election Day).

Registration Info
1. Before anything, please read our guidelines and if anything is unclear or you have any questions related to the spring program, please contact us first.
2. When you’re ready to commit and know your dates, fill out the form; if you’re new, you have to pay a one-time registration fee of $ 50.
3. At the end of registration a credit card payment is required. If you’re signing up for the morning group a non-refundable deposit (25% of the tuition) is due. For all other groups the entire tuition is due.
4. As soon as we receive your registration (and deposit), we will send you a confirmation email as well as an invoice for the remaining tuition and a clear payment schedule and payment terms.
While we understand that circumstances change in your life, or that you just simply changed your mind, we are holding the spot for you until fall and by doing so, very likely turning other people away.
Well, it depends when you cancel and which group you sign up for; please refer to the cancellation policy in the guidelines as well as the registration form. Please note that if you are eligible for a refund, we cannot refund the fees our payment provider charges, as they no longer refund any fees charged.
We accept any major credit cards. The tuition installments (2-4 morning group) can be paid via credit card, Venmo or Zelle.
Yes, we do. A discount of 15% of the sibling’s tuition is automatically calculated in the registration form and deducted from the total. The sibling’s tuition must be equal or less than the first child’s tuition of the discount to be activated.
The pricing quoted above is in correlation with the number of days chosen in the morning group.
Parents can choose up to the number of days they chose for the morning hours for the extra hours (i.e. 4 days per week for mornings but 1-4 of those days with extra hours).

We currently only offer after school on Mondays & Thursdays; if you are interested in Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays, please send us an email and if there are enough people, we may open another afternoon.

We meet inside the park near the 5th Street entrance. Pickup will be by the 3rd Street entrance.
Yes! Rain or shine. That said we keep an eye on the weather – if there is a thunderstorm forecast, or high winds we may have to cancel.
Jump in puddles! Generally the rain is not the issue, but the clothing the kids wear. If the kids have the proper gear, a rainy day can be a lot of fun. That said, there are days when the amount of rain and cold temperatures (and wind) make a day pretty miserable and we may have to cancel; as when there is a thunderstorm predicted or high winds.
We constantly keep an eye on the weather forecast and try to do our best to email you the evening before in case we have to cancel playgroup; but even with all technology avaialble a clear answer is not always possible the evening before, in which case we check the forecast again very early the morning of playgroup. If we need to cancel, we will send you a text.
